The Jeep Compass has long been a dominant force in the small SUV genre, and the 2021 version looks to continue this trend. What sets the Compass apart from its competitors are the easy-to-use technology features, a spacious back seat, and a terrific off-road capability. Like most Jeeps, the Compass comes with a Trailhawk trim, which has underbody skid plates, all-terrain tires, and a lifted suspension. These wonderful features allow the Compass to go further off the beaten path than most other SUVs. There are four trim levels available for the Compass, and there is a tremendous amount of features available with each. Continue reading as we go over each one!
Sport
Starting things off for the Compass is the Sport trim. Like all versions of the Compass, it comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that kicks out 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel-drive is the default setup, but you do get the option of four-wheel-drive if you choose. Going with front-wheel-drive means that the Compass will get a six-speed automatic transmission, while the all-wheel-drive gets you a nine-speed automatic. Features for the Sport include steel wheels, automatic climate control, first and second-row USB ports, a six-speaker sound system, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Latitude
Next up is the Latitude, which brings you more interesting features such as roof rails, keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic headlights. Also coming standard are foglights, satellite radio, and a Convenience Group with a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, windshield wiper de-icer, and Remote Vehicle Start. The Latitude also has an optional Sun and Sound Package, which gets you things like a Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof.

Limited
Going with the Limited trim gets you the most luxury and tech items such as a remote engine start, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a color information driver display. Also standard is an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an all-leather upholstery. One of the best things about the Limited is the number of safety features it has, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, and lane-keeping assist. There is also an available gloss black roof.

Trailhawk
If you are looking for a ton of premium off-road features, the Trailahwk is your best bet as it comes with off-road-oriented tires, a raised suspension, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, hill descent control, and standard all-wheel-drive. Also standard is a Selec-Terrain Traction Management System and an aggressive front and rear appearance. There are several options available for the Trailhawk and other trims, including xenon headlights, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, an integrated navigation system, a power liftgate, and a sunroof.
