Trim Levels of the 2019 Jeep Wrangler

For the longest time, the Jeep Wrangler has been the go-to vehicle for those who want to wander off the beaten path. And in 2019, Jeep seeks to make the Wrangler just as appealing to those who also want a smooth drive down the highway. In 2019, the Wrangler also comes with a ton of new safety features that sets the bar even higher. The Jeep Wrangler comes in five different trim levels and a ton of features and options, read on as we break down each one!

The Sport comes with either a two-door or a four-door configuration along with the option of a 3.6-liter V8 engine or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a mild eTorque system. Both engine options are available on any trim and come with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic. The base-level Sport also comes with 17-inch steel wheels, a full-size spare tire, fog lights, removable full metal doors with crank windows, manual mirrors and locks, cruise control, air conditioning, cloth upholstery, skid plates, and tow hooks. The Sport also comes with impressive tech equipment such as a rearview camera, and a 5-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Bluetooth, USB port, and an eight-speaker sound system.

Sport S
The Sport S gives you alloy wheels, automatic headlights, remote locking and unlocking, power windows and locks, heated power mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sun visors, and vanity mirrors.

The Sahara is available in a four-door configuration and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, upgraded breaks, painted exterior body panels and trim, automatic climate control, and a 115-volt outlet. The Sahara also comes with an updated version of the Uconnect system with a 7-inch touchscreen, an additional USB port, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Optional is a full-time four-wheel drive with a lockable center differential.

The Moab builds on the Sahara’s features by adding unique black wheels, mud-terrain tires, LED exterior lighting, a steel front bumper, rock rails, black-painted exterior trim, a limited-slip differential, keyless entry, a body-colored hardtop, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, premium leather upholstery, and the Sahara’s full-time four-wheel-drive system. The Moab also comes with a ton of safety features including blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors. The tech equipment also gets an upgrade with an 8.4-inch Uconnect system with navigation and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.

Rubicon is the most off-road capable of all the Wranglers and comes with features such as 17-inch alloy wheels with special off-road tires, a steel front bumper, electronic front and rear lockable differentials, an electronically disconnecting front roll bar, rock rails, an upgraded cloth upholstery, and a heavy-duty Dana M210 front axle with shorter 4.10 axle gearing.

The Jeep Wrangler is still the best off-road vehicle around, but in 2019 it has also added a ton of features to make it appealing to those who want to travel in comfort on the road as well.
