Trim Levels of the 2019 Jeep Compass

Sitting between the Renegade and the Cherokee, the Jeep Compass is a small SUV with a lot of bite. There are tons of features and options as well as a terrific fuel economy that goes with its efficient four-cylinder engine. Jeep also has an ace in the hole with the Compass Trailhawk trim level, which is the best off-road vehicle in the segment. Even if you don’t do a ton of off-roading, the Jeep Compass also has a back seat that is well suited for full-size adults and an easy to use entertainment system. The Jeep Compass comes in four trims with a ton of options, so let’s break down each one!

The Sport, like all Jeep Compass trims, comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes with front-wheel-drive with the option of all-wheel-drive. The Sport is available with a six-speed manual transmission with the option for a nine-speed automatic. As for features, the Sport provides you with 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, and a Uconnect system with Bluetooth, a USB port, and a 7-inch touchscreen display.

The next level up is the Latitude, and it comes with larger wheels, keyless ignition and entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and upgraded cloth and simulated leather seat upholstery.

The Limited is the most comprehensively equipped of the Jeep Compass models, and it comes with 18-inch wheels, remote start, automatic dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel and leather upholstery. Tech features for the Limited include satellite radio and an upgraded 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.

The Trailhawk is one of the best off-road vehicles on the market, and it comes with 17-inch wheels with off-road-oriented tires and a raised suspension with a Selec-Terrain system that helps it crawl over any surface. Also included are red tow hooks, underbody skid plates, and design features such as a matte-black hood accent to differentiate it from the rest of the Compasses trims further.

Other Available Options
There are also a ton of fashionable options available at most trim levels such as a navigation system, a sunroof, a power liftgate, and xenon headlights. Also available on higher trims is an Advanced Safety package that includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, forward collision warning and mitigation, and lane departure warning and intervention.

It can be a hard decision when you need to buy a new SUV, but the Jeep Compass is a terrific option! It has a ton of features and options that are perfect for families or just those who want to do a little off-roading.
