What is FCA doing for school-aged children?
FCA has pledged to help provide more than one million meals to school-age children. A wide variety of children consume their meals at school due to food insecurity. With in-person learning shut down, these children are no longer visiting the cafeteria to receive breakfast and lunch. That is why FCA has patterned with several non-profit organizations including No Kid Hungry to help provide meals to children across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The company will start with the communities around its primary manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois and then expand to other areas.
How Many Face Masks is FCA Donating?
Good Question! FCA has set out to manufacture and donate more than one million face masks per month! The face masks will be donated to police, firefighters, EMTs, and health care workers across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. How will FCA decide where to donate the face masks too? Another good question, FCA will be working with various local, national, and regional authorities to determine which facilities and workers need the face masks the most. The company is doing this so they can fulfill immediate needs of those that are working so hard to keep us safe and healthy.
What is FCA doing on Social Media?
FCA has launched social media campaigns across all of its brands, including Ram, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, that promote staying off the roads as well as honoring front line workers. Jeep drivers are known for loving adventuring off-road, which is why the brand is promoting #StayOffTheRoad while promising the trails will still be there. Alfa Romeo is using the hashtag #MorePowerfullInPark, while FIAT is using #WeAreItaly, and Chrysler is using #PacificaCampOut. First responders and other frontline workers are honored in Dodge’s campaign #TheMuscleBehindUs.
