While the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine continues to be standard equipment for the Ram 1500, offering 305 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, two optional engines are brand new for the 2025 model year. First is the available twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine. Also called Hurricane 6, this twin-turbo engine delivers a hefty 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Beyond its greater power numbers, the Hurricane 6 engine provides improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and the most power in its class compared to the larger naturally aspirated V8 engines. For even greater performance and capability, a high-output variant of the Hurricane 6 is available. The high-output Hurricane 6 is tuned to crank out an additional 120 horsepower and 52 lb-ft of torque compared to the regular Hurricane 6, boasting an exciting 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. The robust TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission comes paired with all three engine options, providing smooth shift changes for optimal performance, efficiency, and overall drivability.

Ram’s design team took the Ram 1500 back to the drawing board for the 2025 model year, giving it a modernized exterior to serve as a symbol of the Ram 1500’s heroic aura. Many of the instantly recognizable design notes are still present in the 2025 Ram 1500, while the exterior brings a more streamlined aesthetic. The most noticeable upgrade is found on the front fascia with a redesigned grille tilted forward, enhancing the Ram 1500’s recognizable heroic posture. Stepping inside the 2025 Ram 1500, you’ll find that designers strived for excellence by adding premium colors, textures, and materials and prioritizing durability and comfort. The result of this is an interior upgraded to match the modern exterior. Throughout the lineup of trim levels, new interior design elements are exclusive to certain trim levels. A great example of this is the 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn offers new laser-etched trim accents on the doors, dashboard, and center console. This trim is complemented by Gear Embossed seat insert accents in either Diesel Gray or Black. Another example is the Laramie trim and its new Chevron decorative trim accents and two new interior color schemes – Bison Brown and Sea Salt Gray. While other new features are also added to the Ram 1500 Rebel and Limited trims, there is a completely new trim level atop the lineup. Taking luxury to new heights the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten takes the luxury of the Limited trim to new heights. The Tungsten trim offers a level of luxury never seen in the full-size light-duty truck class before. It features premium quilted Natura Plus leather upholstery throughout the cabin, heated/cooled front seats with massaging, front seat memory settings, and 24-way power adjustments. The sophisticated cabin is highlighted by an array of exclusive features like the ultra-premium Klipsch audio system with 23 speakers, a metal pedal kit, dual wireless smartphone charging pads, and a crystal-effect shifter center cap.

The 2025 model year not only introduces new engines and design elements for the Ram 1500, it also brings out an array of new advanced technology features. The focal point of the 2025 Ram 1500’s technology is the Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreens. The 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen now features split-screen capability, allowing for dual-application functions. Additionally, Ram introduced the largest-in-class touchscreen, spanning a remarkable 14.5 inches. Also new for 2025 is the first-ever 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen. This interactive display screen serves as a co-piloting feature, giving front passengers access to device management, navigation, exterior cameras, entertainment, and more. This passenger touchscreen, paired with the new 14.5-inch touchscreen and fully digital gauge cluster, affords the Ram 1500 more than 50 inches of high-quality display screens. The technology features go beyond entertainment, however. The Ram 1500 also offers an array of more than 100 standard and available safety technologies. These include but are not limited to adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blindspot monitoring, forward collision detection, automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, parallel/perpendicular park assist, drowsy driver detection, intersection collision assist, and traffic sign recognition. Furthermore, the 2025 Ram 1500 is available with the Hands-Free Active Driving Assist feature, which uses radar sensors and cameras to maintain a set speed and safe distance while centering the truck in its lane.
