If you’re interested in a mid-size SUV that’s been redesigned to deliver an outstanding ride with high-performance handling that doesn’t lose out on everyday practicality, then the vehicle for you may very well be the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. New in the 2019 model is a dual-pane sunroof that grants open-air freedom, an entirely new hood and front fascia, a set of five new wheel designs to choose from, LED fog and headlamps, a hands-free power liftgate, and daylight running lamps.
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee has been greatly redesigned for the new model year that features an all-new exterior design that restyles the outside appearance with a host of signature components. Staying consistent with the design of a classic Jeep, the Cherokee’s all-new front look maintains the Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille and waterfall hood that projects its clean lines to separate its hood from its fenders to give the exterior a harmonic flow. The new aspects to its look see the Cherokee outfitted with a lightweight hood, new fascia, LED headlamps, fog lamps, and daylight running lamps. Surrounding the re-sculpted front’s dual LED fog lamps are bright trim details. Despite all the new that comes with the 2019 Cherokee, it still maintains its distinctive identity with aspects of a classic look from its wheel-to-body proportions and wide, commanding stance. Other new features for 2019 include a capless fuel fill and push fuel door so there will be less to bother with when filling up the gas tank.
While it may be a mid-sized SUV, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee has engine options that are bound to make the majority of full-sized SUVs jealous. The first engine option is a 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged inline 4-cylinder that pumps out 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque that’s equipped with fuel economy optimizing stop-start technology that also minimizes greenhouse gas emissions. The second option is a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine that delivers 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque while also being equipped with stop-start engine technology and offering the 4,500 pounds of best-in-class towing capacity. Bringing up the third option is a fuel-efficient 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 engine. Still equipped with stop-start engine technology, the Tigershark is able to maintain 180 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee comes with an enhanced 9-speed automatic transmission along with a Selec-Terrain traction control system with Auto, Rock, Snow, Mud, and Sport driving modes.
With over eighty available security and safety features engineered into it, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is more than ready to keep its passengers as safe as it is ready to get them where they’re going. Just some of the Cherokee’s many available safety features include an SOS button, high-strength steel frame, Electronic Stability Control, 8 standard airbags, Electric Roll Mitigation, ParkSense Park Assist, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning, ParkView rear backup camera, Blind-spot monitoring, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Cross Path detection. And those are all just some of the many safety features employed by the Cherokee.
With engine options that put other segments to shame, an exterior design that deftly combines the old and new into one flowing design, and safety features that just won’t quit, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee has all the features needed to meet your needs and desires when it comes to a mid-sized SUV.
